I'm glad my friends and I had a great time regardless. Overall, it was a enjoyable experience but I would complain about the venue being small, long lines, and the collaboration with Target being unorganized. We missed our free opportunity to go to the Japanese Museum. We stayed until 7pm even though they were closing until 9pm for HK Birthday. I missed out on all the freebies like free drawn picture, signing, and classes that were sold out. My favorite was seeing Hello Kitty two times and Yuko Yamaguchi. So, luckily we ate before going and were okay all day. I think they should've had more food options. There ware food trucks outside with long lines. Outside, they had a fake tattoo area, nail shop, caricature area, pumpkin patch, penny machine, arts & crafts, and a huge line for the shop. I feel bad for our kids and other kids waiting to play games. The people inside took their time playing the games. The security guards didn't even communicated that the line was cut short and that they were no longer accepting people inside. We waited about 2 hours to get in line and we were almost at front when they announced they were no longer letting people inside. We were extremely disappointed in TARGET collaboration with HK in the Carnival Room. Their were a lot of photo op everywhere and it was so fun to take so many pictures of the arts, decor, vintage HK stuff, and awesome back drops in every room! I didn't bother with the shop upstairs since it was 3-4 hour wait and it reminded me of the shop at Puroland in Japan so why bother. Everything was pricey of course so you had to pick and choose what you wanted. Features regular exhibits of traditional and avant-garde art forms all year round. About The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA An innovative modern and fine art museum in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. I got a souvenir HK sweater and custom made shirt. The health of a city has many different factors. There were vendors/licensees that sold HK products in the Supermarket area. Although, the lines were super long, everyone was tolerable of the wait and was showing a lot of excitement. As we waited in line, the workers/staff were handing out pins, stickers, HK rings, and smiles =) everywhere. To our surprise, there's still a long line to get in but it wasn't too bad. It was a far walk to MOCA but it wasn't too bad. We parked at a $6 parking structure off of Commerical & Alameda Ave. I heard about the insane lines after lines through two elite yelpers and realized with kids going with us it's not a good idea to go early so we got there at 11am. Let's get to the juicy details of the HK Con. Now, we are able to enjoy it with her girls at the Hello Kitty Con.
